Alt-J ∆ 三角樂團 Tessellate－Carry on

這支MV是模仿Raphael的The School of Athens雅典學院畫作
時空轉移成現代的幫派天堂

有網友很厲害的提出Alt-J樂團跟這幅畫有什麼關聯
這幅畫將古希臘羅馬和當代義大利五十多位哲學家藝術家科學家薈萃一堂

其中有個數學家Pythagoras(畢達哥拉斯)也出現在這幅畫中

畢達哥拉斯發現音樂要發出悅耳的聲音也就是和諧的樂音

跟數學有密切的關係
而以他命名的pythagorean theorem(畢氏定理)
及十點構成的三角形tetractys都與三角形有關
這首歌提到了三角形( Triangles are my favourite shape
Three points where two lines meet)，樂團名稱也是個三角形
宇宙根本就是達到完美的平衡啊!!

Alt-J鼓手Thom Green受訪時說，就數學而言tessellate(將地板以相同的幾何圖案鑲嵌而成) 是東西緊密契合在一起的意思
而基本上Tessellate是跟"性"有關的歌
主唱Joe Newman也說這首歌是關於跟前女友纏綿悱惻
與這位特別的某人身體上有親密接觸的故事
(說這麼多就是sex啊，鼓手一個字就解決了

主唱寫歌詞的就是不一樣，講起話來文謅謅多了)
原本我就覺得歌詞很抽象
