因為Doreen說我講的讓他對Mika開始有了興趣，所以我就來讓大家都對Mika有興趣吧!
I want to introduce my favorite singer, Mika, to all of you
since he is so different from any artists as far as I know.
How special is he?
Mika's background story may attract your attention.
His father is an American, mother is a Lebanese.
He was born in Beirut but evacuated by Gulf War when he was one-year-old
so the whole family, contains three sisters, one brother, and him,
moved to Paris and he was educated there for 9 years
then emigrated to London until now. Therefore, he can speak French,English
and a little Chinese which learned for a while but almost forgot how to speak.
We have something in common actually.
I can speak Chinese, English, and a little French.
That's why I love him so much. I guess.
As for his music, it really can pep me up. No matter how down I was,
as soon as I heard the melody and sang out loud with it, I could be
cheered up right away. Even watching the drawings in the lyrics book
can make me feel pleasant, too. The colorful drawings are drawn by Mika's
sister, Yasmine, also his stylist. The illustrations of cartoon characters
in the lyrics are corresponding to the title of the songs. That's why
his debut album is called "Life in Cartoon Motion." He also made them alive
on the stage, dancing,and singing with him. Thus, it wouldn't be strange
if he moved the whole circus on the stage interacting with the audience.
He really did that! We can watch this gig, held in France, in issuing date
Nov. 13th.
